Whenever a big star movie is ready in stores, various groups have their eagle eye on the pre release publicity to find out possible loop holes and discrimination against their race/group.Telangana issue usually seen actively poke into every star hero movie and end with a backdoor big buck settlement.Now Gabbar Singh ran into a latest trouble after Andhra Pradesh Police Officers' Association raised an objection to Pawan Kalyan dancing with scantily-dressed women in the film, with his khaki clothes on. The Association says that it is objectionable.
"Khaki uniform is respected for its symbolic significance, disrespecting it in the name of entertainment has never gone down well with our department.It is happening from time to time.We demand that objectionable content if any in the May 11 release must be omitted before the film's release." said a member of POA.
Many term this is nothing but a ridiculous and untimely intervention from the association."This happened previously for Magadheera, from blue, lawyers filed a case against producer for showing lawyer in negative shade.Same is happening with Gabbar Singh.Police is the most defamed department and always a soft target for Tollywood directors since decades.So why did they suddenly wokeup?. "questioned a group of people.However another group says, when a hero like Pawan kalyan get into these roles, it will have a major impact.With growing media intervention into day to day life, Police association agony is justified.
