MaheshBabu started dominating Bollywood stars with his image with his recent string of successful movies.Thumbs-Up brand had already signed up Mahesh Babu in place of Akshay to endorse the drink.The reason that the company reportedly gave was their big consumer base in Andhra Pradesh. According to sources company has taken U turn and considering Akshay Kumar again.
It looks brand's famous move does not seem to be working. Mahesh Babu ad did not get good response at national level. They approached Akshay Kumar to renew his endorsement deal.It is learnt that as against the Rs 2.25 crore per day that the actor was paid earlier, the brand is willing to pay him R 3.5 crore per day now. Housefull 2 helped Akshay to get his image back.
This comes as big blow to MaheshBabu and his national image. If Akshay Kumar finalizes this deal, MaheshBabu will fall back in the race. It could hamper his entry into Bollywood. Unfortunately our superstar's domination over Akshay Kumar turning out only to be shortlived.
