In the wake of ongoing war for succession between Nandamuri and Nara family members, TDP senior leader Nandamuri Harikrishna skipping the Politburo meet has become a point of discussion in the party.
As per the TDP sources, both Chandrababu Naidu and Harikrishna weren't on talking terms for sometime now. The 2010 Mahanadu has triggered the war for succession between Nandamuri and Nara families. Chandrababu projecting Nara Lokesh as his successor in the party didn't go well with Harikrishna, who wants his son Jr NTR to take the reins of TDP. And the call for the Krishna district bandh by the TDP on the release day of NTR's film Dammu, Balakrishna fans anti SMSes on Dammu, Vallabhaneni Vamsi-YS Jagan controversy has widened the gap between Harikrishna and Chandrababu camps.
Both Harikrishna and NTR strongly believe that Chandrababu Naidu is behind the ploy to keep them at distance from the Telugu Desam party. As most of the party leaders are taking Babu's side now, the father-son duo have been waiting for the right time to attack the party chief. The situation is still under the control, as NTR is tight-lipped about his differences with Chandrababu and Lokesh. If he opens his mouth, then a split in the party is inevitable!
